Strawberry Pie
This is my all time favorite dessert. My mom made it for me before I came back to Austin. It's a graham cracker crust, a layer of powdered sugar and cream cheese blended together, and then a layer of strawberry glaze mixed with strawberries. It is very sweet and mom and I are going to try to come up with something to add to the recipe to balance that. I am sure we will make this a few more times this summer so I will work on getting a better picture next time. Also, for the record, this has been my birthday cake for ... I don't know how many years now.
Kevin's Cookies
A really nice lady at work got me cookies from Kevin's! They are really good. I got chocolate chip, Heath bar (which I've reviewed in here twice) and white chocolate with macadamia nut. This batch is definitely the best I've had from Kevin's. It's never gotten stellar reviews from me. In general they are way too sweet but these were pretty good.
